Learn to play jazz piano

We have a number of friends who have learned to play the piano for a long time and then quit somewhere around the seventh grade, because they felt that classical pieces would not satisfy their interest. (Although we don’t really understand because we love those anyway.)
However, we are setting up an ImPulzus jazz piano training for amateurs!
How is this different from general piano teaching?
Under the guidance of Levente Kapolcsi-Szabó, you can run through many useful tasks, patterns and voicing 10 times that will allow you to play in front of your buddies in just three months like a professional.
And if you want your knowledge to become even deeper, you can come 10 more times – and after reading the chord you will become richer in improvisation.

“My name is Levente Kapolcsi-Szabó, I’m studying jazz piano at the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy. Besides playing music together with others, my passions are jazz and classical piano, and teaching theoretical music. I can express myself best with the improvisation methods of jazz, but I am open to a lot of other genres, and I believe that besides practical knowledge, theoretical background is also very important. In my free time I like to listen to music for inspiration to write my own compositions, and I also like sports and hiking when I have the time.“

If you feel you would like to come, but cannot afford the service fee,
we provide the opportunity for a couple of people to participate at a discount (50%, maybe 90%), and you can also sign up for our sessions as a supporter.
