You Ask – We Answer
That is, as a “maiden name”: Frequently Asked Questions. We’ve put together the questions that most people have asked us over the past year.
If you have any questions about something, feel free to read it here – and if there is still any doubt, we are at your disposal. As you can read in several places below: email@example.com – and as soon as we can we will answer it.
You can always apply for ImPulzus courses and programs through our website (https://impulzusmusic.com) Our unique application interface for each course and program is available on the course pages by clicking the “Apply” button. After filling in the application form, please don’t forget to click on the “Submit” button!
If you have not received confirmation, feel free to contact Edit Pálinkás at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on +36303244842! After that, depending on what course / program you have applied for, we will contact you – and we can start arranging a start date.
If you have applied for a master class or workshop: shortly, we will also send you an exact appointment and schedule – please, keep an eye on your email account.
So infrequently, but it has happened unfortunately, sometimes technology doesn’t stand by us in the process. In this case, feel free to contact Edit Pálinkás at email@example.com or at +36303244842 – she will solve everything.
Yes, your application will be placed on our waiting list for a short time, and as soon as the right number of people is gathered to start the course, we will contact you to arrange a common date.
The minimum / maximum number of students for the courses is always indicated on our website and on the course pages. If you have a unique need that differs from the one announced, please write to Edit Pálinkás at firstname.lastname@example.org or at +36303244842 and we will come up with a solution together!
After selecting the 3-4-person group type on the application interface, you can indicate with whom you would like to join a group, so you are guaranteed to stay together.
Most of our courses start by mutual agreement, after individual discussion – we will contact you as soon as possible after the application.
About Strategy for Reading Music, the group will start when the applicants meet, after we have agreed on the dates. In case of a master class or a workshop, the specific date is always indicated on the page – as soon as it becomes available.
If something is still in question for you, feel free to write to email@example.com
Yes, certainly! ImPulzus is specifically designed to help beginners to improve :) If there are any restrictions on attending the course or requiring prior knowledge, this will be clearly stated on the course pages.
Of course, there is no age limit in making music. Related to this topic, we recommend the blog article ‘Am I not too old to start?’ by Csaba Tőri.
We recommend the ImPulzus – 15 minutes program, where you can get an insight into the details of the training during a free 15-minute conversation and short singing with Csaba Tőri. You can tell us what is causing you difficulty, what you want to grow in, or what place you are looking for where you can sing as it pleases you.
If we see that we can offer our own program, we will not hide it, but that is not the primary purpose of this occasion. It is much more important to draw attention to this: you can start solving important problems with a few words.
We usually advertise opportunities every month – but if you don’t see one now, feel free to write, we will solve it: firstname.lastname@example.org :)
We understand that if you feel our prices are not the lowest. This is because, in addition to paying teacher colleagues for classes, more than half of the amount paid is divided into room rent and additional costs (e.g., taxes, contributions). If you are looking for a cheaper training, please choose the group sessions, where we can keep our prices lower with more participants. (Strategy for Music Reading is also available for HUF 2500-3000, for example.)
Same time, we strive for our prices to be as solidary as possible and to reflect our approach as much as possible: on the one hand, so that music can really be for everyone, and on the other hand, so that cultural players can get paid without having to gut themselves. If you have any ideas on how we can take further useful steps in this, thank you for sharing it with us.
Anyone who wants to delve deeper into the basics of sheet music reading, solfeggio and music theory can apply for the Strategy for Reading Music. We also advertise four levels so that everyone can start at a level that suits their knowledge.
Choirs can also choose from several choral vocal training options: together or in small groups, adapted to the weekly rehearsals, or in full, in the form of a weekend workshop or camp. Together with the choir leader, choose the form that suits you best and register with us through the online interface! After you apply, we will contact you and discuss the details.
If you are thinking of buying your own instrument, our instrument teachers will be happy to help you get where to get a good quality yet affordable instrument.
And if you rent for the duration of your studies, we can also offer a lot of places for that – feel free to apply, we will find a solution for that as well. In the future, we also plan to launch an instrument rental, so we will be able to solve it in-house soon.
We are constantly expanding our instrumental trainings. If you want to speed up the process, please let us know what instrument you would like to study on, contact Edit Pálinkás at email@example.com or +36303244842 and we will consider starting the course!
We are constantly expanding our trainings and we are open to launch new courses. If you would like to teach with us, please contact Csaba Tőri at firstname.lastname@example.org or at +36306927644!

In addition to the transfer, you can pay the registration fee for the master classes and workshops even more conveniently with PayPal through our website.
Yes, you can pay for individual and small group courses in one or two instalments.
We are looking for a solution to everything – but in some cases there may be obstacles.
It is possible to change the time of the hour free of charge 48 hours before the start of the session. In case of a change within 48 hours, we may not be able to change at the original time, in which case we ask you to refund the room rental amount for the missed session the next time you pay! In case of an individual course, please discuss your need to change the date with the course leader, but please note that this may take longer due to further consultation with the venue. In case of a small group course, the date can only be changed in consultation with the other participants and the course leader.
Please do not change the time on the day of the session; we can only accept this in case of force majeure, normally the clock must be considered held.
If you indicate your intention to cancel 48 hours before the next session, we will refund 100% of the remaining sessions. If you cancel within 48 hours, we will not be able to refund the participation fee for the next session.
In case of force majeure, of course, we apply individual assessment and try to support you.
In case of cancellation of a master’s course, it is of course possible to attend the next participation fee for the next time. In this case, the participation fee will not be refunded, but we will take it for the next time.
In case of a workshop, we are not sure whether the next time will be announced at the same price, as this depends on the cost of inviting the speaker as well as the duration of the workshop. This way we can offer you to credit your deposit at full price for the next time.
If you feel that you would rather opt for a refund, we will try to create an opportunity for that as well – we can solve it with the following conditions:
If cancelled in writing 14 days before the start of the event, the full fee will be refunded. Within the last two weeks, we can refund 50% of the event participation fee. In all such cases, please write to the email address email@example.com, we will try to help you in everything! If you cancel within 48 hours, we will not be able to refund the participation fee.
In case of force majeure, we use individual assessment – and try to support it to the best of our ability.
